Give an example of how nominee has shared expertise with fellow tow operators.
Darrell has held many offices within our state association. He has attended many events supporting our industry. He is always willing to assist fellow towers with advice or equipment and manpower when needed.
Provide details of at least one instance when the nominee has effected positive change in the industry.
Darrell recently lost a driver while working on the side of the highway. He immediately set up a fund within our association that was to be spent directly towards operator safety. Most of this funding sponsored the spirit ride visit to Charleston, WV for the public safety expo this year.
How has the nominee served as a role model or mentor to younger tow operators?
Darrell has employed and trained many operators who have moved on and opened their own companies.
What leadership roles within the industry has the nominee held?
President of WV Towing Association, WV State Representative to TRAA, currently Vice President of WV Towing Association.
