Give an example of how nominee has shared expertise with fellow tow operators.
Everything Bud does benefits any towing company that works with motor clubs. He has committed years and personal monies to better the relationships between towers and motor clubs and increase income for towers.
Provide details of at least one instance when the nominee has effected positive change in the industry.
In addition to leading his own successful towing operation Bud has undertaken multiple duties with various trade associations including but not limited to the TRAA Motor Club Communications Committee. Through Buds leadership, he has found many ways for us to improve our relationships not only with motor clubs, but even their client customers. Recognized by TRAA in 2015 with Distinguished Service Award.
How has the nominee served as a role model or mentor to younger tow operators?
Bud has the vision for the future of towing. He is even having his own “app” made to help his business. I am not sure how much he wants to talk about this yet but in my opinion his vision is what made this happen. Also co-founded Tow Zing, a towing app to compete with Honk and Urgent.ly that puts the towing company first.
