When people mention Texas and towing in the same sentence, Larry Cernosek comes to mind. Larry served, 2-year terms as Chairman of the Texas Towing and Storage Association. He is also a member and past president of the Texas Motor Transportation Association where he also served as Legislative Director. Larry believes that business and community are one and lives that belief by being active in several local communities. He is a member of several chambers of commerce, active on local business boards and has served on board of local charities including Rose, a non-profit breast cancer screening, diagnosis and education organization. Larry Cernosek has been recognized locally, having received the 1994 Outstanding Citizen of the Year award from Deer Park Chamber of Commerce and in March 2000, he was awarded the Community Builder Award from the Deer Park Masonic Lodge. But his commitment to his community is equaled by his commitment to his family and his towing family. He continues to serve the Texas towing industry legislatively, fighting to protect towing company rights and profits. Larry was inducted into the International Towing & Recovery Hall of Fame in 2000.
